Respect Yourself, Biafra Is God-ordained - IPOB Fires Back At Gov. Mohammed

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has condemned the recent Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

Naija News had reported earlier that properties including cars belonging to Nigerians in the country, were set ablaze by South Africans in the wake of the Xenophobic attacks.

In a viral video, South Africans also looted shops belonging to Nigerians. At least three people were also feared dead during theĀ  Xenophobic attacks.

Reacting to the Xenophobic attacks in a tweet on Tuesday, Kanu said though he is seeking secession from Nigeria with his group, IPOB, he, however, rises in defence of all “victims of this shameful carnage”, and demands an “immediate stop to it.”

The IPOB leader accused the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari of keeping silence in the wake of the Xenophobic attacks because the “victims belong to the hated 5%.”

His words: “I condemn in totality the xenophobic attacks in South Africa. Even as I seek #BiafraExit from Nigeria, I rise in defence of ALL victims of this shameful carnage, and I demand an immediate stop to it.

“As usual, The Jubril Cabal is silent, the victims belong to the hated 5%,” Kanu tweeted on Tuesday.
