Donald Duke Ready To Pay AMCON Debt

A former Governor of Cross River State, Mr. Donald Duke, has revealed that he has promised to pay up his debt of five hundred and thirty-two million naira he owes the Assets Management Company of Nigeria, AMCON.

Speaking through his legal aide, Edoigiawerie Omoruyi, he also pleaded for out court settlement whereby he can pay the debt in the next two days.

AMCON’s lawyer, Austin Erhabor, confirmed the position, saying, “In the spirit of trust and fairness, we will concede to an adjournment to enable us to finalise the possible settlement.”

Consequently, Justice Oweibo adjourned till September 11, 2019, for the report of settlement.
