Kogi IPAC Walks Out On INEC Stakeholder

Kogi state  Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has accused the resident electoral commissioner of INEC, Prof. James Apam, in the state of working with  Yahaya Bello in the state to upturn the upcoming governorship election on November 16th, 2019.

Naija News learnt that the political parties made the accusation after they walked out of the stakeholders’ meeting organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The Kogi IPAC spokesman, Ibrahim Itodo, said they had lost confidence in the REC and demand he be posted out of the state.

he also said that they found the REC consistently compromising his position and duties and acting in ways inimical to the feelings of majority of voters in the state.
