EFCC Arrests 12 Suspected Fraudsters From “Yahoo Yahoo Institution”

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 12 middle-aged men for their alleged involvement in cybercrimes, popularly known as “Yahoo Yahoo.”

Naija News understands that the suspects were arrested while trying to evade arrest.

The arrest was said to have followed the raid of the residence of the suspects who tried invading arrest.

They were apprehended in their home in the Ikotun axis of Lagos where they used as their Yahoo Yahoo school

Oluwaseun Ogunbunmi, Haruna Yusuf , Olubori Hassan, Wasiu Idowu, Basit Adeniran, Aina Olajuwon, Okafor Joseph, David Ado, Olamide Ogunseye, Opeyemi Ahmed , Monsuru Amao, Taiwo Rasak- were arrested on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in a rented three-bedroom apartment in the Ikotun area of Lagos, where they used as a Yahoo Yahoo school.

Items recovered from the suspects include laptops and mobile phones. The suspect will soon be charged to court.b
