Biafra: Attack Me Abroad, Rotimi Amaechi Dares Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB (Video)

Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister of Transportation, has dared members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu, to attack him abroad.

Naija News reports that Amaechi made this comment in reaction to claims that politicians in Nigeria are afraid of traveling abroad after the attack on a former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, by IPOB members.

Just In: Yahaya Bello Emerges APC’s Gov’ship Candidate

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has won the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the governorship election scheduled for November 16th.

Naija News reports that Bello emerged winner of the primary held on Thursday with a total of 3,127 votes out of 3,596 accredited delegates.

Buhari Not Oshiomhole Behind APC Electoral Victories – Tanko Yakassai

Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Tanko Yakassai, has stated that President Muhammadu Buhari was behind the success of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement to newsmen, the elder statesman said the National Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole has no powers to “make” members of the party win any electoral positions.

He said it was only Buhari that can decide the rising of members of APC across the country and not Oshiomhole.

El-Rufai A Leper Abandoned By Buhari – Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, the immediate past senator representing Kaduna Central, says the governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is a leper, who has been abandoned by friends.

Naija News reports that Sani made this comment in reaction to a statement credited to Governor El-Rufai on Thursday, where he averred that the former lawmaker had been reduced to a mere “blogger” since his defeat by his opponent in the last general elections.

In reaction, Sani said El-Rufai’s height has been reduced from “dwarf” to a leper and has also been abandoned by President Muhammad Buhari and his men.

Biafra: Why IPOB Will Not Let Buhari Leave Japan – Nnamdi Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has claimed that members of his group have encircled and trapped President Muhammadu Buhariin a Yokohama hotel in Japan.

Naija News had earlier reported that President Buhari travelled out of Nigeria to Japan to participate in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama, August 28-30, 2019.

Following the departure of the President from Nigeria, the IPOB leader had directed its members to ensure that the President was arrested and handed over to security operatives in Japan because he is an impostor.

Gov. Ihedioha Orders Rochas Okorocha’s Arrest

The Imo State Government led by Emeka Ihedioha has ordered a citizen’s arrest against Senator Rochas Okorocha, the immediate past governor of the southeast state.

Naija News reports that the Ihedioha led government ordered a citizen’s arrest against Okorocha on Thursday, August 29 over alleged assault on a government official, Jasper Ndubuaku.

This online news platform understands that Uche Onyeaguocha, the Secretary to State Government (SSG), gave the order after Ndubuaku, who is the Chairman of the Recovery of Government Properties, was allegedly assaulted at Okorocha’s residence.

Don’t Make Ignorance Fashionable – Presidency Blasts Moghalu

The presidency has berated former CBN Deputy Governor and 2019 presidential candidate of the Young Progressive Party, Prof. Kingsley Moghalu.

The presidency in a statement on Thursday via the Twitter handle of Mallam Garba Shehu, senior special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, said Moghalu is either ignorant or playing petty politics.

Shehu said this in response to Moghalu who earlier made a mockery of the non-invitation of President Buhari to the 45th G7 summit which held in France between August 24 – 26.
