Orji Kalu N7.65bn Fraud Allegation: Judge Adjourns Final Arguments

The former Governor of Abia State and the Senator representing Abia North senatorial constituency, Orji Uzor Kalu, and two others rested the alleged fraud of N7.65bn filed against them for the past 12 years.

Justice Mohammed Idris of the Federal High Court in Lagos directed the prosecution and the defence to file their final written addresses.

Justice Mohammed adjourned the adoption of the written addresses and the final arguments in the case until October 22, 2019.

After the adoption of the final written addresses on October 22 by the parties, the judge will fix a date for judgment.
