1. Biafra: IPOB Reveals Where Buhari Is, Vows To Arrest Him

The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) says President Mubammadu Buhari is in Oman and not Japan as stated by the Presidency. Naija News recalls that the Presidency had said Buhari is in Japan to participate in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama.

2. What Sowore Told Court About Nnamdi Kanu Helping Him Topple Buhari Govt

Omoyele Sowore, the detained activist and convener of the RevolutionNow Movement, says the allegation by the Department of State Service (DSS), that he was sponsored by external forces to topple President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is false. Naija News reports that Sowore made this comment on Tuesday in an affidavit deposed on his behalf by a lawyer in Falana’s chamber, Abubakar Marshal at the Federal High Court in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

3. Biafra: IPOB Tells Presidency What To Do To Buhari

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has challenged the presidency to reveal the whereabouts of President Muhammadu Buhari in Japan. Naija News reports that the Presidency, in a statement by Buhari’s Media Adviser, Femi Adesina, noted that IPOB had “nothing to do with President Buhari since he arrived Yokohama, Japan on Monday.”

4. Presidency Speaks On IPOB Declaring Buhari Missing In Japan

The Presidency has today noted that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has “nothing to do with President Muhammadu Buhari since he arrived Yokohama, Japan on Monday.” Recall that Buhari left Nigeria yesterday, for Japan to participate in the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7) holding in the City of Yokohama, August 28-30, 2019.

5. Return Home And Fight – Ohanaeze Youths Dare Nnamdi Kanu

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council has attacked the leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, accusing the group of fast sliding into a terrorist organization. This was part of a press briefing granted by the Secretary-General of the OYC, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike on Monday in Enugu, where he also raised the alarm over the activities of some fifth columnists who he said were impersonating the group.

6. IPOB Lawyer Speaks Against His Boss, Kanu Over Attacks On Ekweremadu

Legal adviser to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Vincent Obeta, has berated the action of the group after the recent attack on the ex senate deputy president Ike Ekweremadu by IPOB members in Germany. Obeta, who spoke at Christ Redemption Church on the Enugu Campus of the University of Nigeria (UNN), said Ekweremadu played a vital role during the struggle for Kanu’s release.

7. You Are A Coward – PDP Slams Nnamdi Kanu

The Ebonyi State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday rubbished plans by the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu to attack some South-East Governors. It described the threat by the IPOB leader as a cowardly act of desperation.

8. Group Accuse President Buhari Of Making Nnamdi Kanu Popular

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of making the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, popular through the poor handling of the country’s economy which has caused hardship for Nigerians. The group stated that the IPOB leader has seen the lapses in President Buhari’s handling of the country’s affairs and decided to capitalise on it.

9. IPOB: Court Asked To Declare Nnamdi Kanu A Fugitive, Order His Arrest And Repatriation

A man identified as Donaldo Okonkwo has filed an appeal at the Abuja Federal High Court to declare the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, a fugitive in the United Kingdom. The court was asked to order the arrest and repatriation of the IPOB leader from his UK base back to Nigeria for his trial in 21 days.
