Juventus Hints On Retirement

Juventus superstar forward and Portuguese international, Cristiano Ronaldo, has spoken on his plans for retirement, hinting at a time frame.

Ronaldo is only in his second season with Juventus after signing a £100million four-year deal that saw him move from Real Madrid to the Serie A champions.

The 34-year old hinted he could be ready to hang up his boots at the end of the current season.

He however also added that he could keep on playing well into his forties.

He made the disclosure while answering questions on retirement on TV1. Ronaldo said: “I don’t think about that.

“Maybe I can leave my career next year … but I can also play up to 40 or 41.

“I don’t know. What I always say is to enjoy the moment. The gift is excellent and I have to continue to enjoy it.”
