After the attack on the former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, the Indigenous People of Biafra, has threatened to humiliate President Muhammadu Buhari anytime he travels out of Nigeria.

The group in its statement also threatened that it will humiliate Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai.

The threat was issued by the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, during a live broadcast on Radio Biafra on Sunday.

He attacked President Buhari and Buratai for launching ‘Operation Python Dance’ against “armless” Biafran agitators in the South East, which saw many IPOB members killed.

“Any day you see Jubril a.k.a Buhari or Buratai anywhere outside Nigeria, they will understand the meaning of anger“, Kanu stated in his live broadcast.

The spokesperson of IPOB, Emma Powerful, in his statement called on other tribes in the country to start holding their political leaders responsible for alleged misgovernance.

“We are calling on other tribes in Nigeria to start the process of holding their politicians and elites to account because IPOB and its leadership have started their own”.

Recall that Naija News had earlier reported that IPOB placed a N1 million bounty on South-East governors.

The affected governors include Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Willie Obiano (Anambra).
