Oyegun’s Birthday: Security Guards Beat Up Local Government Chairman

Mr Destiny Enabulele, the council chairman Ovia South-West local government area was yesterday reportedly manhandled by security guards at the reception of the 80th birthday of Chief John Oyegun.

The reception held at the ISO event centre at Ikponkpa road.

Naija News understands that attempts by Enabulele’s aide to introduce him was rebuffed by the guards, who insisted on seeing the access card before they allowed him in. When he was asked to turn back Enabulele insisted on having his way with his aide.

He was immediately grabbed by the neck and thrown out.

The situation almost turned to fracas as both Enabulele and his aide reacted.

It took the intervention of the protocol officer, who knew Enabulele before the situation was brought under control and he was allowed into the reception venue while his aide was locked outside.
