The Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, has revealed that only members of the All Progressives Congress would make his cabinet.
Gov. Oyetola while speaking with newsmen at Iragbiji, however, stated that ideas from the oppositions that would help make the state better would not be rejected.
Recall that the Social Democratic Party had joined effort with APC during the governorship rerun election, the party’s candidate, Iyiola Omisore, had directed members of the party to vote for Oyetola.
Following the decision of SDP, there have been insinuations that members of the SDP would get cabinet positions.
Oyetola stated that it would be difficult to appoint members of other parties who do not share the APC vision.
“I will run an all-inclusive government because my party will have a say in the way we will run our administration.”
The Osun State governor stated that a new strategy that would address security challenges facing the state would soon be operational.
He said the new security initiative, which would cut across all the South-West states, would also involve the use of vigilante groups to monitor forests in the region.
