Former Super Eagles Defender Quits Monaco

Michael Emenalo has left his position as the Director of Sports for French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco.

This was made known in a post on Monaco’s official website.

The former Super Eagles defender had joined the French side in November 2017.

Part of his role as Sporting Director was to oversee the recruitment of players for the club.

Emenalo thanked the club for giving him the opportunity to experience the French Ligue 1 and wished the club and supporters a successful 2019-2020 season.

Naija News recalls that Emenalo was technical director at Chelsea and worked with ten different head coaches before moving to France.
