Just In: Road Accident Claims Life Of Popular Music DJ

Popular Ivorian musician, Houon Ange Didier popularly known as DJ Arafat on Monday passed away at the age of 33.

DJ Arafat died at about 8 am following a road accident on Sunday night in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire.

Naija News understands that his motorcycle was hit by a car driven by a journalist from Radio Côte d’Ivoire.

DJ Arafat was unconscious while being rushed to the hospital and sadly didn’t survive the incident.

He was a highly celebrated and accomplished “Coupe Decale” Artist.

Ange Didier won the Best Francophone Award at the 2015 MAMAs, and was nominated for Best African Act at the 2015 MTV EMA.
