2. Falana Berates Kaduna Govt Over Conditions On El-Zakzaky’s Release
Femi Falana (SAN) has berated the Kaduna State Government over fresh conditions it issued over the permission granted by the court to Sheikh Ibrahim El-zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, to embark on a medical trip abroad. Naija News reports that the Kaduna state govt had kicked against every move by Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), to seek asylum in India.
3. Shiites Speak On El-Zakzaky’s Release From DSS Custody
The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites, have denied reports making rounds that its leader, Ibraheem El-Zakzaky and his wife, Zeenat, have been released from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS). Naija News had reported earlier that the DSS stated that it is working to release the Shiites leader following a court ruling granting El-Zakzaky’s request to travel to India for medical treatment.

President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government has published in its Official Gazette the court order proscribing the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), also known as Shiites. Naija News reports that the gazetting was done on Monday.
5. Buhari Vs El-Zakzaky: Shiites Reveal Foreign Islamic Nation Responsible For Its Proscription
The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) also known as Shiites have accused Saudi Arabia of being behind its proscription by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. Naija News reports that the federal government on Tuesday published in its Official Gazette the court order proscribing the IMN.
6. FG Officially Bans IMN Activities Nationwide
The federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has officially proscribed the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) led by Ibrahim El-Zakzaky. Furthermore, all protests by the IMN group has been banned.
