The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has condemned the arrest of Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters and convener of Revolution Now, by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS). The group’s spokesperson, Emma Powerful said Kanu will return to Nigeria to mobilise support for the actualization of Biafra as part of his current tour of some countries where he is canvassing support for the group’s secessionist cause.
