English Premier League side, Manchester United, has relented on signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, this summer.
The Red Devils are set to sell its top striker, Romelu Lukaku without a replacement in place for the Belgium international at Old Trafford.
This development was revealed by BBC sports football expert, Simon Stone, on his Twitter account.
He wrote: “United could sell Lukaku without bringing in a replacement.”
“They are still looking at transfer options but not at Bruno Fernandes, who is not on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s list.”
Recall that there had been earlier report of Manchester United’s interest in signing Fernandes this summer.
