Buhari Fixes Induction Retreat Date For Ministers Designate

President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday approved August 15-16, 2019 for the convening of an induction retreat for Ministers Designate.

This was made known in a post on the official Twitter page of the Presidency.

Naija News reports that the induction retreat would hold at the State House Banquet Hall, Aso Villa, Abuja.

The statement reads: “President Buhari has approved the convening of an INDUCTION RETREAT for Ministers Designate, to be held at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja from August 15-16, 2019.

“Preparatory to the inauguration of the Cabinet, all relevant study documents for the guidance of the Ministers-Designate shall be available for collection at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) from 10.00am on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.”

Naija News reports that the Upper Legislative chambers had last week Tuesday confirmed the nomination of all the 43 ministerial nominees sent by Buhari.

The confirmation followed the conclusion of the confirmation hearing which began on the 24th of July 2019.
