Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has met with Hausa/Fulani leaders in the Southwest, Kogi and Kwara State.

Naija News understands that the meeting which discussed insecurity and banditry in the region was held in Abeokuta Ogun State.

Speaking at the meeting, Obasanjo urged Nigerians to stop passing blames and instead look for a lasting solution to insecurity.

While maintaining that the nation’s security challenges should not be left to one person to address, Obasanjo said the solutions can come through collective efforts and not through “passing of blame” here or there.

“If Nigeria other countries looked up to as big brother is unable to deal with her security issues, where would they run to for help if theirs hit home,” he said.
