The Ogun State Police Command on Saturday rescued the remaining four members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) abducted in the state.

Naija News reports that police had earlier rescued the only lady among the abducted members of the RCCG.

The clergymen were abducted along the Ijebu-Ode axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on their way to attend the church’s Ministers’ Conference in Lagos from the south-east.

The shocking development was disclosed by the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Friday during his message at the ongoing ministers’ conference holding the Redeemed Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Adeboye who expressed sadness about the incident called for prayers from the congregation for the release of the abducted pastors.

The Ogun state police command had earlier identified the victims as Chidioze Eluwa, Chiemela Iroha, Okoro Ohowukwe, Ndubuizi Owuabueze, and Ibeleji Chidinma.

Speaking to newsmen, Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the rescue of the remaining four RCCG members.

According to Oyeyemi, all the kidnapped victims were rescued unhurt from their abductors by operatives of the Command.
