Atiku Abubakar, the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reacted to the decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari to close its defence at the presidential tribunal. Paul Ibe, media aide to Atiku took to Twitter on Thursday to express his view on the decision by APC and Buhari.

2. Presidential Tribunal: Buhari, APC Close Defence

President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have closed their defence at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal. Buhari’s legal team, led by Wole Olanipekun (SAN) and lead lawyer to the APC, Lateef Fagbemi announced the intentions to close their defence when they appeared before the tribunal on Thursday.

3. What Presidency Said About Leaked List Of Buhari’s Ministers’ Portfolios

The Presidency has denied the list making rounds on social media on the portfolio assigned to Ministers-Designate by President Muhammadu Buhari. Recall the Senate on Tuesday, completed the screening of 43 nominees sent in by the president and confirmed all of them.

The Immediate past Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has accused the incumbent Governor, Emeka Ihedioha of a deliberate intention to destroy his legacy in the state. 5. Ex-Kwara Assembly Member Docked For Over Land Dispute

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned and docked a former member of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Muhammed Adebayo before the Kwara State High Court. Naija News understands that the former member of the House was arraigned on a six-count charge bothering on land fraud.
