Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Explodes Over Buhari's 'Fake WAEC Certificate'

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of parading a fake West African Examinations Council (WAEC) certificate.

Naija News reports that the IPOB leader made this accusation on the micro-blogging site, Twitter in reaction to the recent court case challenging President Buhari’s possession of a WAEC certificate.

This online news platform recalls that WAEC presented a certificate to President Buhari last year but the said certificate has been questioned by Atiku Abubakar, the 2019 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition and Buhari’s main challenger in the last election.

Tilting towards Abubakar’s stance, Kanu who has over time claimed that the President is an impostor identified as Jubrin Al-Sudan from Sudan, stressed that Buhari’s “forged, fake, Oluwale WAEC Certificate is an indictment of everything Nigerian.”

His words: “Jubril’s forged, fake, Oluwale WAEC Certificate is an indictment of everything Nigerian.

“A hopeless British concocted contraption that passes for a country.

“A stain on the conscience of humanity, where lies, deceit, mass cowardice & mediocrity reign eternal, shame!”

Meanwhile, Kanu is leading a group seeking secession from Nigeria. The group has since been proscribed by the Nigerian government.
