Court Orders Police To Produce 40 ‘Stolen’ Exotic Vehicles Seized From Matawalle

Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has warned his predecessor, Abdulaziz Yari, to stop interfering in moves by his administration to end activities of bandits.

The governor gave the warning in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Public Enlightenment, Zailani Bappa.

Naija News understands that Matawalle made this known while receiving six more abductees, who were voluntarily released by bandits as part of the ongoing peace accord and reconciliation process in the state.

“Let me warn the former Governor to keep off my administration, especially the peace accord process going on in the state or face dire consequences as I will no longer fold my arms and watch blatant sabotage from anybody.

“I am aware that the former Governor, his boys in politics and even some local government chairmen are going about discrediting our efforts in bringing lasting peace to the State,” Matawalle said.

He also accused members of the opposition of having meetings with bandits in order to convince them to change their minds about the peace accord process.

“They are meeting the armed bandits or their representatives to convince them that our intention is not clean about the whole process.

“Hence I warn them once again to desist from their nefarious act or face our wrath,” Matawalle warned.
