Transfer: Neymar Speaks On Playing For PSG Next Season

Ahead of a new season, Paris Saint-Germain winger, Neymar, has revealed that he does not want to play for the club again.

According to Sport, the Brazilian international told PSG about his decision to leave the club with interest from Barcelona.

The Spanish newspaper also revealed that Neymar is currently training on his own at the club’s pre-season tour in China and has not played in any match for the Ligue 1 champions.

La Liga champions, Barcelona has been keen on signing the superstar player back to Camp Nou. However, PSG is not interested in a possible player swap which has been suggested by Barcelona.

Neymar is under contract until 2022, giving the French giants plenty of leverage in negotiations.

PSG sporting director, Leonardo, recently admitted that the club is prepared to sell Neymar after he failed to report for pre-season training some weeks ago.

He said: “PSG affirms that the player Neymar Jr was not present at the time and place required, without prior authorisation from the club.”

“PSG regrets this situation and will take appropriate action.”
