Nigerians React As Buhari Closes Case Against PDP’s Petition At Tribunal

President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) have closed their defence at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Buhari’s legal team, led by Wole Olanipekun (SAN) and lead lawyer to the APC, Lateef Fagbemi announced the intentions to close their defence when they appeared before the tribunal on Thursday.

The actions of APC and Buhari led government has generated several reactions on social media. Here are some of the reactions as follows:

Did prove anything by the time he close his case? He tendered the same result sheets declared by INEC but failed to prove that results contained in the those results sheets are false or are showing that he has won, he failed woefully to prove that server exist,

On what basis is the perjury coming from? Personally I don’t feel Atiku has established his case.

On the basis that he lied in his INEC form that his certificates are with the military board.

On the basis that the results stated in his INEC form differ from results we have seen in documentation he has presented outside.

The overwhelming Atiku petition may have left the defence team of INEC, APC and Buhari in disarray to have closed their case so quickly with very very few witnesses.
