My Life In Danger – Kogi State Deputy Governor, Achuba Cries Out Again

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Simon Achuba, has once again raised another alarm over the alleged threat to his life.

Naija News recalls that Mr Achuba earlier this year in February had accused his boss of threatening to kill him. Again, in an interview with pressmen on Thursday at his official residence in Lokoja, the embattled deputy governor alleged Governor Yahaya Bello has detailed gunmen to kill him.

He alleged the gunmen, on the instruction of the governor, were out to kill him, adding the plans were no longer a secret.

He called on President Muhammadu Buhari and security agencies to save him.

Naija News understands that Achuba visited the Presidential Villa on Friday in Abuja where he held a closed-door meeting with the Chief of Staff to the President, Mr Abba Kyari about his fight with his boss

The governor, Yahaya Bello, has been at loggerheads with his deputy since the beginning of this year The conflict reportedly led to the severance of some of Achuba’s benefits.
