Doctors Absent As Borno Governor Visits Hospitals At Night

Borno state governor, Umara Zulum was left shocked when he arrived the Umaru Shehu Ultra-Modern Hospital and the State Specialist hospital on Tuesday, only to discover that there was no doctor on board.

Naija News understands that the state governor had arrived the Hospital at 1:00 am on Tuesday but met no doctor on duty. Naija News understands that efforts were made to call the doctors but their calls were irresponsive as the doctors didn’t take their calls.

Naija News understands that the state governor at Umaru Shehu Ultra-Modern Hospital, he met patients in pathetic condition and could not find a single doctor on duty.

Only 10 nurses were reportedly found on duty out of about 138 nurses on the payroll.

The Governor went round all the wards to see the situation of the patients and later requested for the hospital’s staff pay book and made roll call.

Many of the absentees are currently on hot seat as they are yet to know their fate.
