Breaking: FG Officially Bans IMN Activities Nationwide

FG Proscribes IMN Nationwide

The federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari has officially proscribed the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) led by Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

Furthermore, all protests by the IMN group has been banned.

This was made public by Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector-General of police at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

He added that anyone who associates with the group will be treated as “an enemy of state”.

Naija News recalls a federal high court in Abuja had earlier declared the group a terrorist organisation, following an ex parte application filed by the federal government.
