A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has listed three mistakes made by President Muhammadu Buhari since he assumed office in 2015.

Naija News reports that the former minister, who is also a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, made this known on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

According to Fani-Kayode, the President made a mistake by banning the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and “persecuting” its members.

The PDP chieftain also noted that President Buhari made a mistake by proscribing the Islamic Movement Organisation (IMN) better known as Shiites.

Fani-Kayode, who is a strong critic of President Buhari, stressed that the President will regret all the mistakes he (Fani-Kayode) listed.

The former minister tweeted: “The 3 biggest mistakes @MBuhari
has made are:

“1. To proscribe IPOB and persecute its members.

“2. To proscribe IMN and persecute its members.

“3. To encourage the mass murder of Nigerians by Fulani herdsmen and refuse to declare them as terrorists.

“He will regret ALL three!”

Naija News had reported earlier that the Federal Government obtained a court order to proscribe the Shiites as a terrorist group, just like it did with Nnamdi Kanu’s led IPOB.

The ex parte application marked FHC/ABJ/CS/876/2019 was filed in the name of the “Attorney-General of the Federation” before the court on Thursday, July 25.

This online news platform understands that the court restrained “any person or group of persons” from participating in any form of activities involving or concerning the IMN “under any name or platform” in Nigeria.
