Transfer: Lehman Speaks On Aubameyang Joining Manchester United

Jens Lehman, a former Arsenal goalkeeper, has stated that the North London side will be able to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if he decides to join Manchester United this summer.

The Gabonese has scored 41 goals in 65 appearances for the Gunners since joining from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

The Arsenal man has been linked with a number of Chinese clubs ahead of a new season.

Old Trafford has been seen as a potential destination for Aubameyang as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks to strengthen his squad.

Lehmann while speaking with DAZN on the speculation surrounding Aubameyang move to Man U said, “If you finish fifth [in the league] you can sell players.”

“If he was to go to United, a new player would come in who could do better.”

“Arsenal’s goal shouldn’t be to finish fifth or sixth.”
