Kidnappers Demand Huge Ransom From Siasia For Mother

Former Super Eagles striker and coach, Samson Siasia has revealed that kidnappers of his mother, Mrs Beauty Siasia, have asked for N70m ransom before she could be released.

Naija News reports that Madam Ogere Beauty Siasia was kidnapped at her residence in Odoni community of Sagbama Local Government Council of Bayelsa State.

The kidnap of the 76-year-old mother of the former Super Eagles striker, Samson Siasia, makes it the second time she’s being kidnapped in four years.

Multiple sources report that the mother to the former coach was kidnapped by armed men early Monday, and whisked away to a location that is yet to be identified.

Recall that the mother to the former Super Eagles coach was kidnapped in November 2015, but was apparently released 12 days after.

Speaking to The Punch, Siasia stated that the abductors had made outrageous demands for the release of his ageing mother.

He said: “The Nigeria Police Force are doing their best and I hope they get her back.

“The abductors have demanded N70m as ransom, which is alarming, though no amount is too much to get the soul of one innocent person out of danger

“We are pleading that they be considerate in their demands as well. They should please release my mother.”
