Afcon 2019: Nigeria Vs Tunisia 3rd Place Line Up

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to take on the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in a third-place match at the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Super Eagles were beaten by a late Riyad Mahrez freekick last time out against Algeria, while Tunisia lost to Senegal after an unfortunate own goal in extra time.

Both sides will now battle for who is the third-best team in the continent as they play for pride in the third/fourth place playoffs.

The last four meetings between both nations in an AFCON tournament has ended in four victories for Nigeria while Tunisia last recorded a win in the semi-finals in 2004.
