1. Atiku vs Buhari: APC, INEC Reject PDP’s Move To Present Star Witness

The move on Monday by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to present its star witness at the 2019 presidential election tribunal has been objected by the respondents.

PDP’s planned move was objected by counsels of President Muhammadu Buhari, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

2. Kogi Guber: We Won’t Be Pressured To Decide On Primary – APC

Ahead of the governorship election in Kogi State, the All Progressives Congress has revealed that it will not be pressured by stakeholders in the state on the mode of voting to adopt during the party primary.

Recall that the National Working Committee of the party had announced that it would adopt the indirect primary for the Kogi primary.

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has reacted to the accusation that Fulani herdsmen killed Funke Olakunrin, Pa Fasoranti’s daughter.

Miyetti Allah in its statement, also condoled with Pa Reuben Fasoranti, the Afenifere national leader, over the death of his daughter, Funke.

The Trade Union Congress has urged President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to implement the N30,000 minimum wage or be faced with strike action from the workers.

The labour leaders accused the government of dragging its feet over the implementation of the new minimum wage to Nigerian workers.
