The governor of Oyo State, southwest Nigeria, Seyi Makinde, has publicly declared his assets, worth over N48 billion. Naija News reports that the governor declared his asset in a statement issued by Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa.

2. Atiku vs Buhari: APC, INEC Reject PDP’s Move To Present Star Witness

The move on Monday by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to present its star witness at the 2019 presidential election tribunal has been objected by the respondents.

PDP’s planned move was objected by counsels of President Muhammadu Buhari, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

3. Kogi Guber: We Won’t Be Pressured To Decide On Primary – APC

Ahead of the governorship election in Kogi State, the All Progressives Congress has revealed that it will not be pressured by stakeholders in the state on the mode of voting to adopt during the party primary.

Recall that the National Working Committee of the party had announced that it would adopt the indirect primary for the Kogi primary.

Deputy Senate President, Mr. Ovie Omo-Agege, has pledged the support of the National Assembly to the deployment of soldiers to secure the nation’s highways against bandits and other forms of criminality.

This was made known by Omo-Agege when he addressed State House correspondents after a closed-door between him and President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The application of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to tender 48 video clips has today been granted by the presidential election petitions tribunal

The application to tender the video was made by Chris Uche, counsel to the petitioners, in support of the petition challenging the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of February presidential election.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has on Monday, addressed an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari in which he lamented the current situation in the country.

An agent for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria has revealed some of his experiences in Borno State.

The agent, Babagana Kukawa spoke at the resumed hearing of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja on Monday as the 37th witness for the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

8. Certificate Scandal: Gov. Wike Wins At Supreme Court

The suit filed against the eligibility of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, to run in the last governorship election has been struck out by the Supreme Court.

A five-man panel of the Supreme Court upheld two appeals by Wike, with which he challenged the leave granted to Elvis Chinda by the Court of Appeal.
