Ex-Footballer Shot Dead By Gunmen

Former Bafana Bafana player,  Marc Batchelor was on Monday shot buy some unknown gunmen outside his home in Johannesburg on Monday.

Naija News understands that the 60 years-old former player was in his car with his gardener where he was killed.

The assailants who arrived his scene on a motorbike were said to have shot repeatedly through the window of his car, he died almost immediately after receiving the gunshots.

The attack was reported to have been melted on Batchelorat 6pm South African time.

While confirming the attack, the Police spokesman Lungelo Dlamini said; “He was shot through the window several times and died at the scene.”

“Police are investigating a murder case after a former soccer player, Marc Bachelor was attacked by two men driving a motorbike in Olivedale outside his house. He was shot several times and died inside his vehicle. The suspects then drove away without taking anything. The motive for the attack is still unknown. No one has been arrested,” said Dlamini.

However, the Police have already begun the search for the killers.
