The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), Chief Frank Igwebuike has approached the presidential election petition tribunal to withdraw charges against President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory. After hearing the application, Justice Mohammed Garba fixed July 18 to entertain the application.

2. Rivers Guber: Gov. Wike Wins At The Tribunal

The petition filed by the African Action Congress and its governorship candidate, Biokpomabo Awara at the governorship election petitions tribunal sitting in Port Harcourt has been dismissed by the tribunal. Recall that the AAC candidate had challenged the victory of Governor Nyesom Wike and the Peoples Democratic Party.

3. Adeleke vs Oyetola: Supreme Court Delivers Final Judgment On Osun Governorship Election

The Supreme Court has on Friday, delivered its final judgment in favour of Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The apex court in its ruling dismissed the appeal by candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last governorship election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

4. Ogun Guber: Akinlade Storms Tribunal With ‘Ghana Must Go’ Bags Containing Electoral Evidence

The Governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement, Adekunle Akinlade, has stormed the election petition tribunal sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta with ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags containing electoral evidence to prove that his mandate was stolen. Dapo Abiodun, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress had defeated Akinlade in the 2019 governorship election in Ogun State.

5. Buhari Moves Against Use Of His Bio-Data At Presidential Tribunal

President Muhammadu Buhari has challenged the admissibility of the form containing his bio-data at the presidential election petition tribunal. According to NAN, this happened on Monday at the resumed sitting of the presidential election petition tribunal in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and it’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

6. Presidential Tribunal: Atiku, PDP Shocks Buhari As It Calls First Witness

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar have started calling witnesses at the resumed hearing of the presidential election petition tribunal on Monday. The first witness they called is Buba Galadima, a well-known critic of President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration.

7. INEC Transmitted 2019 Presidential Election Results To Server – Witnesses

A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP‘s witness, Ijeoma Peter Obi, at the presidential election petition tribunal today, stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, used the server for the transmission of election results of the February 23, presidential election. Obi who stated that he is an Information Communications and Technology expert declared also that he transmitted results from polling units to the INEC server as Registration Area Technician shortlisted and trained by INEC for the 2019 polls.
