1. President Buhari Returns To Nigeria From Niger Republic

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after attending the African Union (AU) 12th Extra-Ordinary Summit in Niamey, Niger Republic.

Buhari’s plane landed at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja around 1:26 pm on Monday.

2. Presidential Tribunal: Atiku, PDP Shocks Buhari As It Calls First Witness

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar have started calling witnesses at the resumed hearing of the presidential election petition tribunal on Monday.

The first witness they called is Buba Galadima, a well-known critic of President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration.

3. Atiku vs Buhari: INEC Presiding Officer Reveals How Results Were Transmitted To Server

A Presiding Officer during the February 23 presidential election, Mr Adejuyitan Olalekan, has unveiled how the use of servers came into play during the election.

He told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, on Monday, that he personally transmitted the results collated at his polling unit during the poll.

4. Senator Abbo Pleads Not Guilty To Assault Charge

The Senator representing Adamawa North in the National Assembly, Elisha Abbo, has pleaded not guilty after he was arraigned for allegedly assaulting a woman in Abuja at a sex toy shop.

The Senator was arraigned on Monday by the Federal Capital Territory police at Zuba Magistrate Court, Abuja.

5. Galadima Reveals Real Reason He Always Tackles Buhari

Alh Buba Galadima, politician and spokesperson of the Atiku Campaign Organisation has spoken out on why he fell out with President Muhammadu Buhari.

Galadima spoke on Monday when he appeared as a witness for the Peoples Democratic Party and its 2019 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar at the presidential petition election tribunal.

6. Atiku Vs Buhari: You Are Wrong To Say Results Were Not Transmitted – INEC Technical Officer

At the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, the second witness, Peter Uzioma Obi, on Monday stated that it was wrong to say the results of the presidential election were not transmitted electronically.

Obi took the witness stand for the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar who is challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress.

7. Atiku Vs Buhari: Prof. Yakubu Promises To Open Up On Controversy Over INEC Server

Following the controversy hanging around the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Chairman of the commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, has promised to address the issue after the Presidential Elections Tribunal.

Recall that former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, had dragged President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress before the tribunal.

8. Buhari Moves Against Use Of His Bio-Data At Presidential Tribunal

President Muhammadu Buhari has challenged the admissibility of the form containing his bio-data at the presidential election petition tribunal.

According to NAN, this happened on Monday at the resumed sitting of the presidential election petition tribunal in the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and it’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

9. Kogi APC Guber Aspirants Reject Indirect Primary

Governorship aspirants who are vying for the slot of being the official candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Kogi state governorship election on Monday opposed the choice of indirect primary by the party.

Naija News reports that the party had resolved to adopt indirect primary to pick its candidate for the November governorship election in Kogi State.

10. ASUU Slams Buhari, Says His Education Policy Is Against Nigerian Children

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), over the weekend, harped on the need for the federal government to improve the funding for the nation’s academic sector.

The academic body further tackled President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, saying its current policies are capable of killing public universities.
