Drama At Customs Head Office As Officer Claims Buhari Asked Him To Replace Hameed Ali As CG

Mr. Nura Dalhatu. an assistant Superintendent of the Nigeria Customs Service has been admitted at a hospital after he showed signs of “mental ailment”.

Naija News learnt that Dalhatu had claimed that he was told to replace retired Col. Hameed Ali, the Comptroller-General of Customs by President Muhammadu Buhari,

He created a mild drama this morning when he resumed at the office, wearing the rank of a Deputy Comptroller General at the Customs Headquarters, Abuja,

According to Mr. Joseph Attah, Nigerian Customs Public Relations Officer, Dalhatu was questioned about his action but replied in a manner that indicated he was mentally challenged.

“It was obvious that he was not in the right frame of mind. From the question and the answer he gave,” Attah said.

The Customs Spokesman said the official has been taken to the hospital for appropriate evaluation and treatment.
