Real Reason Buhari Reappointed Mustapha, Kyari, Others
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday reappointed the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha and Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari.Buhari’s decision is seen as a move to cement his hold on power and to show he cannot be stampeded by anybody or group.
This is following the protest against Abba Kyari and his nephew, Mamman Daura. The President also approved the reappointment of 11 other aides in a statement by his Media Assistant, Garba Shehu.
The 11 aides are Mohammed Sarki Abba (Senior Special Assistant to the President (Household and Social Events); Ya’u Shehu Darazo (Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Duties); Dr Suhayb Sanusi Rafindadi (Personal Physician to the President); Amb. Lawal A. Kazaure (State Chief of Protocol); Sabiu Yusuf – Special Assistant (Office of the President); Saley Yuguda – Special Assistant (House Keeping).
Osun Election: What Oyetola Said After Supreme Court Victory
Winner of the Osun state governorship election, Gboyega Oyetola has described his victory at the Supreme Court as a call to service.
Naija News reports that Oyetola disclosed this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Adeniyi Adesina on Friday in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.
This is coming after the Supreme Court in a split judgment of five to two on Friday upheld the election of Oyetola as the authentic governor of Osun state. While speaking on his victory, the governor also said that he dedicated the victory to the glory of God and to the good people of the state.
COZA: RCCG Pastor Adeboye Breaks Silence On Rape Allegation Against Biodun Fatoyinbo
General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, says Christians who continue living in sin under the guise of grace will be exposed.
Naija News found out that Adeboye made this statement on Friday night while reacting to the rape allegations levelled against the senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Recall that Busola Dakolo a celebrity photographer and wife to the popular soul mate singer Timi Dakolo had alleged that Fatoyinbo had sexual relations with her without her consent. She alleged that the Pastor had molested her while she was 16 going on till 17.
Osun What Tinubu Said About Supreme Court Verdict
The national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Bola Tinubu, has commended the Supreme Court’s judgment on the Osun Guber Poll.
Naija News reports that the national leader of the party stated that the judgement of the Supreme Court, further vindicates the judiciary as unbiased, independent and impartial. Tinubu unveiled his reaction to the Supreme Court judgement on the Osun state election in a statement entitled “Supreme Court Verdict on Osun: Testimony that Judiciary is on Course.”
In the statement obtained by Naija News, Tinubu said the judgment which reaffirmed the victory of Gov. Gboyega Oyetola was a testimony that the judiciary was firmly on course and worked with the peoples’ aspiration.
Finally, Atiku States Position On Ruga
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 Presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, says his position on Ruga settlements initiated by the Federal Government aligns with that of his party.
Naija News recalls that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration on Thursday, July 4, suspended the controversial Ruga initiative, it proposed to resolve the clashes between farmers and herdsmen.
The plan was suspended by the Federal Government after the idea was greeted by widespread criticism by Nigerians.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended Hon. Ndudi Elumelu (Aniocha/Oshimili-Delta State) and six other PDP members of the House of Representatives.
The other PDP reps that were also suspended include member representing Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency of Osun State, Wole Oke; member representing Onitsha North and Onitsha South Federal constituency, Lynda Ikpeazu; member representing Ezza North/Ishielu federal constituency, Anayo Edwin; member representing Kaura Federal Constituency election in Kaduna State, Gideon Gwani; member representing Aninri/Awgu/Oji River Federal Constituency of Enugu State, Toby Okechukwu and member representing Ijebu-North/Ijebu-East / Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, Adekoya Abdul-Majid.
