“I’ll Win By The Grace Of God" - Oyetola Predicts Victory As He Opens Up Lead In Osun APC Guber Primary Election

Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State has reacted it his victory at the Supreme Court over the disputed Osun Governorship election.

Naija News reports that the Apex Court on Friday delivered its final judgment in favour of Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The Supreme Court in its ruling dismissed the appeal by candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last governorship election in Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke.

In a majority decision of five-to-two, read by Justice Olabode Rodes-Vivour, the court held that the failure of a member of the election tribunal, Justice Peter Obiora to sit on February 6, 2019 rendered the entire proceedings and the judgment given by the tribunal null and void.

Speaking while leading street celebrations on Friday, Governor Oyetola extended a hand of friendship to the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.

He urged all stakeholders to come together to move the state forward since the matter of the Guber election has been laid to rest.

Oyetola said, “It is time to move forward. I extend (a) hand of friendship to the opposition. We are all Omoluabi. I will focus on security, people’s welfare especially women.”
