2023 Presidency: Osinbajo Storms Ibadan For Consultations

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has left Nigeria for Rwanda to represent President Muhammadu Buhari at the 25th Anniversary of the Liberation of Rwanda.

A statement on Wednesday by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr Laolu Akande, disclosed that the event will be marked on Thursday, July 4.

The statement reads: “Prof Osinbajo will join other African leaders and Heads of State expected at the occasion, scheduled for Thursday, July 4, in Kigali, which will reflect on the end of the genocide in 1994.

“The Vice-President, who will be accompanied on the trip by senior government officials.”

He is expected back to Nigeria on Thursday, July 4.
