'Emefiele, Buhari Now Put To Shame' - Fani-Kayode Reacts To Supreme Court's Ruling On Naira Policy

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has commended the Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Biodun Abiodun, for stepping down.

Naija News reports that Busola, a celebrity photographer and wife of singer, Timi Dakolo, had accused the pastor of raping her.

This led to calls by protesters and church members on the pastor to step down.

In a statement on Monday on his Instagram page, Pastor Fatoyinbo announced he was stepping down from the pulpit indefinitely.

Reacting in a post on his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode disclosed that he is praying for the embattled pastor.

Fani-Kayode wrote: “Now that Pastor Biodun Fatunyibo has stepped down as Pastor of COZA can we get back to RUGA?

“At least Biodun Fatunyibo had the decency and courage to step down.

“How many others can do that? I have worshipped at COZA and whatever anyone may say about that young man he really is a very good preacher.

“He also loves God! I am praying for him! He shall rise again!”
