1. Presidency Speaks On Osinbajo Supervising Ruga Settlements

The presidency on Friday dismissed reports that the office of Vice President is supervising the establishment of Ruga settlements. Naija News understands that the General Secretary of MACBAN, Baba Uthman Ngelzarma, had claimed that the office of the Vice President was helping herdsmen to create the Ruga settlement across the country.

2. Ruga Settlement: Presidency Summons Ministry Of Agric Perm Sec

The Presidency has taken fresh actions after the loads of criticisms that greeted the announcement of plans by the federal government to implement a cattle settlement policy, tagged Ruga settlement. The presidency on Thursday summoned the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Muhammadu Umar, Naija News understands.

3. EFCC Unseals Houses Erroneously Linked To Fayose

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, has reportedly unsealed some properties it linked to the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, in Ado Ekiti, the state capital. Naija News recalls that EFCC sealed off the properties, November 22, 2018, marked them with red ink and wrote on them: “EFCC under investigation, KEEP OFF ABJ-HQ FAFI.”

4. PDP Roasts Mahmood Yakubu, Says INEC Is ‘Corrupt, Compromised’

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, has condemned the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, for saying that the commission was the most improved service institution in Nigeria. Senator Ademola Adeleke has expressed optimism that the Supreme Court will on July 5th declare him the winner of the Osun Governorship election. Naija News recalls that the Apex Court of Nigeria had scheduled July 5 to deliver judgement on the controversial Osun Governorship election which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said was won by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gboyega Oyetola.

Busola, the wife of the popular singer, Timi Dakolo, has made a shocking revelation in which she accused Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA of raping her. Busola Dakolo, a mother of three said Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) said the incident happened while she was much younger.

8. COZA Pastor To Sue Busola Dakolo Over Allegation

Embattled founder of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Abuja, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, says he will sue celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo, wife of Nigerian singer and songwriter, Timi Dakolo for accusing him of molesting her at 16-year-old. Naija News reports that Busola Dakolo left the whole country in shock when she made a damning revelation that the Pastor had raped her severely while she was a teenager in her family house in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state while her parents were away.
