Popular Nigerian singer, Naira Marley is at again with a new single he dropped in the wake of Friday, June 28.

Naija News understands that in his brand-new single titled ‘Soapy’, Marley recalled his experience in the custody of the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC).

Naira Marley in his song said he was grateful for returning from custody safely.

His lyrics carried the impression that he danced while he was in the detention of the EFCC and as well taught others in the detention of the Nigeria’s anti-graft agency how to dance to his new single ‘soapy.’

His lyrics that were conveyed in Yoruba language messaged that both in the Kirikiri, Ikoyi and the EFCC prison, soapy as it is widely called is being danced to, even in Nigeria and beyond.

Recall that Naira Marley regained his freedom from the claws of the EFCC on Friday, June 14 after he met all the bail conditions to secure his release.

The artist was earlier arrested by the EFCC on Friday, May 10, a day that he was supposed to celebrate his birthday.

His song, ‘Soapy’ had since been making the rounds across social media platforms as his fans, popularly known as Marlians have since started uploading their own version of the dance.
