Video: Dino Melaye Unveils Main Reason He Joined Kogi Governorship Race

Controversial Senator representing the Kogi west senatorial district, Dino Melaye has unveiled the reasons he joined the governorship race in the state.

Naija News reports that the controversial senator revealed that his aim of joining the race is not unconnected to declaring the ambitions of the people in the upcoming gubernatorial election slated for 16th November 2019.

Melaye said enough was enough he said the spate f poverty in the state despite the availability of resources to curb poverty in the land was also part of the reasons he decided to join the race.

Melaye made this known in a video obtained by Naija News where he was observed to have expressed his passion towards attracting better standards of living to Kogi state.

The Senator who has been known for being vocal even in a dangerous or a death setting, said he is pursuing the ambition of the people of Kogi State and not his personal ambition.

He said if it was for him, he would have simply kept calm and looked the other way.

“But if I do so, I will negate everything you have known me for. I cannot look away when poverty is ravaging our dear State as if we don’t have resources to turn the fortune of the people around,” he said.
