Transfer: Crystal Palace Winger, Zaha Keen On Joining Arsenal

According to BBC, Crystal Palace winger, Wilfried Zaha, is keen on joining Arsenal during the summer transfer window.

The report, however, revealed that the North London side cannot afford the Ivorian international.

A correspondent of BBC Sport, David Ornstein, noted that Crystal Palace wants around £80 million ($101.4m) for the 26-year-old.

He revealed that the Gunners cannot meet the demands after failing to qualify for the Champions League last season.

In related news, Real Madrid’s 22-year-old right-back, Alvaro Tejero, has completed a move to Eibar.

He signed a five-year contract with the La Liga side.

Tejero joined Madrid’s youth set-up back in 2005 but only went on to make one league appearance for the club, coming off the bench to make his debut back in 2017.

The defender spent last season on loan with Albacete in the Segunda Division, and joins for a fee thought to be around €3 million (£2.7m/$3.4m).
