PDP Governors Condemn Police Raid On Gov Ishaku’s Home

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has condemned the invasion of Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State’s home.

Governor Seriake Dickson, who his the chairman of the forum, also called on the Inspector General of Police to probe the raid.

Naija News recalls that Police operatives claiming to have a warrant from the Presidency’s Special Investigation Panel had allegedly broken into the Abuja residence of Governor Ishaku.

Reacting to the raid, Dickson urged police bosses to identify the culprits and discipline them accordingly.

“We hereby condemn the invasion and forcible entry into the Abuja residence of the Taraba State governor, Arc Darius Ishaku, by people who claimed to be police operatives,” he said.

“We condemn the illegal action and call on the police authorities to investigate this disturbing incident with a view to bringing the suspect to book.

“We also call on the national security establishment to take the requisite step to protect Gov Ishaku, members of his family and officials.”
