According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Roma have made an offer totalling €20 million (£18m/$22m) for Real Betis goalkeeper Pau Lopez.
Roma are also reported to have made personal contact with the 24-year-old in the past few days, and have since made his club an offer of an initial €18m (£16m/$20m) plus €2m in bonuses.
Lopez made 33 La Liga appearances for Betis last season and kept 10 clean sheets in the process.
Man Utd may consider Aarons bid
Manchester United are set to step up their interest in Norwich City right-back Max Aarons, according to Sky Sports after seeing two bids rejected for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Aarons enjoyed an impressive debut season for newly-promoted Norwich in 2018-19 and was named in the Championship’s Team of the Season.
Man City to offer €95m for Koulibaly
Manchester City reported to be ready to make a €95 million (£85m/$016m) bid for Napoli and Senegal defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The player himself is understood to be interested in working with Pep Guardiola should the offer materialize.
Arsenal show interest in Celtic defender, Tierney
Arsenal are set to launch a bid for Celtic defender, Kieran Tierney as part of effort to bolster their defense ahead of next season, reports the Daily Mail.

Lyon open to offers for Fekir
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has disclosed that midfielder Nabil Fekir is likely to depart the Ligue 1 side this summer.
Aulas added that the club is ready to discuss offers for the 25-year-old.
“We are open to discussions.
“We have no news. We are waiting for proposals in the coming days but for the moment we do not have any,” Aulas told the club’s website.
Napoli makes progress on James deal
Napoli are understood to have made significant progress in their negotiation with Real Madrid on a deal for James Rodriguez.
The Serie A club want a loan deal for the Columbian international with a view to making the deal permanent for €30 million (£27m/$34m), reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
James spent the last two years on loan at Bayern Munich and it is understood he is not part of current plans at Madrid.
