The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, will address ‘Biafrans‘ later today, Tuesday, June 18 by 6 pm Nigerian time.

Naija News reports that the secessionist leader made this known on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, on Monday night, June 17.

Kanu, who had said on May 16, during what he tagged a “live global address,” that he will not stop agitating for the Republic of  Biafra and that the “enemies of Biafra” cannot stop the ongoing agitation, said he will broadcast on Radio Biafra.

The IPOB leader said the broadcast which will be aired on Radio Biafra, will be part of the IPOB’s coordinated effort to reach Biafrans in all nooks and cranny of all states in the United States of America (USA).

“I thank IPOB family in Los Angeles for a resoundingly successful townhall meeting. Tomorrow 18 June, I will broadcast on Radio Biafra as part of our coordinated effort to reach Biafrans in all nooks & cranny of all states in the USA. Time: 10 AM, LA Time, 6 PM Biafraland Time,” the IPOB leader tweeted.

Meanwhile, Naija News reports that Kanu is leading a group seeking secession from Nigeria. The group has since been proscribed by the Nigerian government led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
