AFCON 2019: Rohr’s Reveals Super Eagle’s Toughest Opponent

Burundi as been named as the toughest opponent the Super Eagles will face at the group stages of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Egypt.

Nigeria’s coach Gernot Rohr stated this following Nigeria’s 1-0 defeat to Senegal on Sunday in their final warm-up match.

Nigeria is set to play against Burundi in their first Group B opener on 22 June.

Super Eagles are also on the same group with Guinea and Madagascar.

“The Burundi match will be our toughest in the group stages.

“Once we get it right, we can go on from there,” Rohr said in an interview with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) YouTube channel.
