Uruguayan international Lucas Torreira will not be leaving Europa League finalist Arsenal next season.

The former Sampdoria player had admitted his ‘life was better in Italy’ which threw his Arsenal future into doubt.

However, despite recent reports to the contrary, Sky Italy are claiming the midfielder will stay put.

Arsenal Dealt Serious Blow In Carrasco Transfer Race

English Premier League giants Arsenal are set to miss out on the signing of Yannick Carrasco due to their transfer budget.

According to The Sun, Arsenal are now out of the running for Carrasco after Dalian Yifang demanded £30m for his services.

Carrasco has previously been open about his desire to move back to Europe and declared he believes he would be well-suited to Premier League football.

Arsenal Agree Personal Terms With Forward

Arsenal have agreed personal terms with highly-rated French forward Alexis Claude-Maurice.

The Gunners are short on cover in attack with Danny Welbeck set to leave the club on a free this summer and have identified the teenager as a work in progress.

Arsenal have already made an approach for Claude-Maurice, but have seen two bids rejected by FC Lorient.

Claude-Maurice favours a switch to the Emirates, where he will link up with his former team-mate Matteo Guendouzi.
